Update & What to Come.

Hey Everyone! So on Friday we broke up from school, and we finally have 6 weeks off. This year I am not planning to waste away my 6 weeks, I am going to write a list on what to do, and stick to the list. For example, I have bought three new books: Forgotten, Withering Tights and Are these my basoomas I see before me? At the moment I am reading Are these my basoomas I see before me? I am about a third of the way, and it's going okay. It's not one of the books I could read straight for hours like Harry Potter, I do have to have breaks because the Georgie Nicolson collection gets very long winded and almost end up repeating themselves. The reason I bought the book was because it was the last in the series, and I have read the other nine but always forgot the to buy the last one so I never really knew how it all ended. So yes, that's what happening with my books, once I finish them I will probably do a review on them.

The second thing I want to talk to you about is that on Friday, the day we all broke up, I saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. It makes me sad to think that it's all over, I've read all the books and seen all the films, and they have been a very big part in my childhood. I grew up with Harry and the gang, and I have really enjoyed everything about it. The last film was amazing, I very much enjoyed it, and there wasn't a dull bit in it. They had a very good mix of action, romance and the magic that of course takes place in Harry Potter. I think the director had done a very good job, as well as the actors of course and everyone else that helped to make the film, it really is one of the best films I have ever seen.

Last but not least, I am going to share a few upcoming blogs that I am going to make. Like I said, I will be doing some book reviews on the books I am reading, also I am going on holiday so I may be doing a blog on that. I have also recently purchased some new summer clothes in New Look and some summer must-have make-up items so that would be good to make a blog on.

This is just a quick update, i did this because I haven't blogged in a while.
Blog soon- Georgie :)

All American Girl: Ready or Not.

This is the next book to All American Girl.
As you may be able to tell, I really enjoyed All American Girl and I was really excited about ready the second book.

The second book is still following Sam around, and she now works for the President and is still going out with David, the Presidents son. David asks Sam to come to Camp David with him for Thanksgiving, where she mistakingly thinks that's code for 'sex.' The book then takes us through how Sam deals with this, and what she does, and whether or not she says 'yes' to sex. In the end of the book, they end up going to Camp David and they do have sex, although David wasn't expecting it.

I really think that this book should be ages towards older teenagers because the whole book relates to sex, and also this may be what some teenagers might be going through. It is also a good source to find out about protection when having sex.

Overall I think this book was very good, and very gripping. Although it was quite long winded in the middle, and it did carry on a bit.

Bullying.

Hey everyone.

I thought I'd do a blog on bullying as, I have had an experience with this. There are many different types of bullying, and some people may be bullying and not know it.

I have been bullied twice in my life, once when i was 11/12, there was this person at school and he made fun of the way I looked. I don't want to say how, but all I will say is that i often came home in tears. I did tell my mom and my dad, but I didn't want them to do anything as if they told the school, lets face it, I would have been bullied more for being a 'tell tale twit.'

Eventually, I stoped seeing the bullies. They left school to go to college and I stoped seeing the around town. So it became okay again.

The second time, although I didn't notice it at first, it took me a while to notice, but I was getting slightly bullied by my friends, or 'so called' friends. Everyday they would make fun of something I said, or did, or something that I was wearing, but I don't think they realised that they were doing it. It wasn't nice, I would come home and look at myself in the mirror and thing 'OMG am I that hard to like?'

But now, I'm happier knowing that I'm doing well in school, I have nicer friends and I'm beginning to feel better about myself.

This blog is just something to say, it gets better, don't let the bullies ruin your life and I really feel for everyone who has been bullied.
