Christmas Blog

Hey everyone, I know it's been a long time so I thought I would come back with a super long blog. This blog is about Christmas (obviously) but mostly come Christmas present ideas, good Christmas songs and so on.

Christmas Present Ideas.
Everyone is different. You have to have a vague idea of what the person is like to get them a good present. Lets start with girls. Girlfriends, moms, sisters, nans, aunties and so on, what should you get them?
Watches: Usually it's hard to go wrong with watches, if you know they like sparkly things get them a sparky watch, if you know they like plain things, get them a simple watch, if you know they like Ice watched get them an Ice watch. There are millions of watches out there from cheap to very expensive, it's hard to go wrong.
Slippers: Every woman likes to own a nice pair of slippers to hug their feet when they get home. They're so simple but mean so much. From plain old fashioned ones to ones with lots of fur, there is a wide selection out there!
Shoes: Everyone has to wear shoes, some women like heels, some like flats, others may like flip-flops. Just make sure you know their foot size.
Clothes: Clothes can be a touchy subject, women have so many different styles so try and tone it down by getting just a scarf or a simple top so she doesn't hate it.
Perfumes: There are loads of perfumes out there and they smell lovely, as long as you like the smell, she probably will as well.

Men are not as picky as girls you may think, but you're wrong. They do care what you get them!
Watches: Again a nice watch will go with everything they can wear it to work, or around the house, as long as it's their style they're sure to love it.
Tickets: To a football game, a concert or a comedy show, there must be something out there he likes!
Aftershave/deodorant: Everyone likes to smell nice, so do men! It's hard to go wrong with some cheap Lynx.
Books: Most men I know like to read autobiographies. Find out their greatest hero and see if there is a book on them!

My Favourite Christmas Songs.
I love Christmas songs and I start listening to them as soon as December 1st comes.
Happy Christmas (War Is Over) - John Lennon.
Last Christmas - Wham.
Merry Christmas Everyone - Shakin' Stevens.
Do They Know It's Christmas - Band Aid.
Merry Christmas Everyone - Slade.

It's only 28 days until Christmas! I hope to get an iPhone so I can update this blog more regularly.
Thank you so much for reading.
Merry Christmas.

The Hunger Games

I have now officially finished the first book in the Hunger Games Trilogy. Book one is just called The Hunger Games, and I loved it!

The story follows Katniss, a girl who doesn't have bags of money and has to fend for her mother and sister since her dad died. Every year there is a reaping, this is where a boy and a girl from each of the 12 districts are chosen to play, or survive, in the hunger games. This year though, Katniss's sister Prim is chosen, so bravely, Katniss takes her place and is put into the arena of the brutal hunger games.
Just to make things worse, she is put in the games with Peeta. I wont ruin it and tell him who he is, you'll just have to read it an find out.

After my long love of vampire stories (not Twilight, don't worry) this has been a change, and I loved it! This book keeps me gripped throughout the whole story and at the end of each chapter there is a cliffhanger so big that you have to read on. I read this book in 2-3 days, it would have been one if I didn't have to go to places. Can't wait to read the next two!
