Vampire Academy Series

Oh my God! I just realised I finished this series and I didn't do a review/blog in it, and it's one of my favourite series ever!

Vampire Academy (written by Richelle Mead) is set in a human world, but there are Moroi (nice vampires who drink blood, but don't kill people for it) and Dhampirs (they look like humans, but they're not, they protect Moroi from danger so that neither species dies out) and Strigoi (the un-dead vampires, when they drink they kill.)

I loved this series! It's set in the eyes of Rose Hathaway a beautiful but feisty girl, training to protect her best friend Lissa who is a Royal Moroi. On the way, she meets Dimitri, her mentor, who she just happens to fall in love with. Over the six books she saves her best friend many times, falls in love with the man on her dreams, fights countless Strigoi and comes close to death ore times than you can count.

It's hard to tell you about this story without giving some of the amazing plot away. It's about vampires but not the camp sparkly ones like in Twilight. These books are addictive and it will be really hard to put down. It is one of my favourite series of all time.
