Due to me moving house, I thought I would give some room-decorating tips and tricks. Nothing much, just some things that have helped me out through the years, some must-haves, some cool do-it-yourself things etc.
Warning: This is really for girls (usually teenage).
So firstly, make-up. Where would girls be without make-up? Personally I have quite a bit of make-up, but not as much as some. I have been saving through out the years and although I don't have a lot of high end products (MAC, NARS) but I'm happy with what I have. So where to store it? I bought a cheap stack of drawers from ASDA and I use that to keep my make-up in. There are 5 drawers: Face things, eyeshadows, face things, mascaras and eyeliners, lip things and hair things. It's cheap, holds everything nicely and matched my room (it's blue) perfect!
Onto my brushes, I only have a few. I have an all over face brush, eyeshadow brush, crease brush, blending brush and blusher brush. Now, for Easter last year I got a 'paint your own mug' so I pained 'Brushes' along it and it is now my brush holder. Because I got to paint it, it now matches my room and is very handy for on-side brushes.
Girls, as we know always need their girlies. Sleep overs are inevitable. You need somewhere for your friends to stay and I recommend a sofa bed, they are so versatile! You can use it as a sofa whilst you're watching TV, you can use it as a chair when reading, you can use it as an extra bed when your friends come over. You can get them so cheap at amazon.com, or at places like IKEA. Seriously, they're amazing.
Next up is my best friend, my iPod dock. It's there whilst I'm getting ready, if I'm bored, whilst I'm tidying my room, even if I feel like having a party in the middle of my room! Blasting music is my top priority and sometimes the speaker on my phone just doesn't cut it.
Anyways, thankyou for reading. I need to get this blog becoming more active! Bye. :)
