This blog post will be about TV shows I've recently discovered, or have come back on TV that I really am enjoying.
1. Make it or Break it.
This show is about mainly four Gymnasts, but there's are usual gymnasts, these are determined. They spend 6 hours a day training and represent their country: USA. I was hooked from the first episode, this just isn't about their time in the gym it's also about their lives outside. There's backstabbing, survival, love and losts. There's also alot of competition and so much tension. This is what makes the show good.
2. True Blood.
This show is back on for its third season. I loved the other two, and the last episode left you on a cliff hanger so I am so glad it's back. This show is basically about a small town in the USA, but there are vampires living there, not just there, they live all over the world and unlike in other vampire novels or TV shows, people know these vampires exist and are not hidden. Although only one episode into the new season I am already loving the new story. Bill is lost and Sookie needs to find him before the head vampires do. I can't wait to watch the rest of the season.
3. Hollyoaks.
Hollyoaks at the moment is amazing. Brendan has been locked up for a murder that he didn't commit, yet all the evidence points to him. Only Lindsey knows who really did it but no one believes her. There is so much more tension and action in Hollyoaks than any other soap on TV at the moment and the story line is so gripping. Holloaks Later was also on for a week giving an epic second base story line to the original Hollyoaks but also connecting both. Much love for this show at the moment.
4. Top Gear.
Only very recently have I gotten into this. I love Top Gear. You don't need to know about cars to love this show, they add so much humour and entertainment to this show that you almost forget it's about cars. The presenters make the show so much more entertaining though, Clarkson, Hammond and May are an amazing trio. I also love the fact that it's on everyday.
5. Waterloo Road.
Waterloo Road being back on TV makes my Wednesday nights so much more worthwhile. If you don't know what Waterloo Road is, it's a school and the show is set around the school and everything that goes on. It's safe to say it's not your original school. Although I'm not keep on some of the new characters and miss some of the old ones, I really hope I get to liking this new series. I'm really sad that we don't get to see what happens to Jess and her baby, but I hope her friends mention her. I can't wait to get back into this show.
